The Team
As impressive as is the history of this land within the deep roots of the old quarry, only a team with an equally impressive reputation for vision and creativity could bring today’s Quarry Springs into being.

Quarry Springs began life in 1924 as a real, working quarry – Stoneyhurst Quarry – opened and run by Lilly Stone, a widow then in her 60′s. The mica schist stones from the quarry were incorporated into homes, bridges and churches notably the National Cathedral – throughout the region.
Though history runs deep in its veins, little evidence of the land’s original use remains. The 14-acre site, when complete, will boast four beautifully designed buildings nestled amongst lush lawnsand gardens. A 50-ft. waterfall serves as a magnificent focal point, its waters splashing by a gazebo down three terraced levels into a landscaped stream beside a community walking path.
Residents of Quarry Springs will enjoy both sides of the town-and-country lifestyle from their incredibly convenient Bethesda location. All of the cultural diversions of downtown Bethesda – the shopping, dining and entertainment venues are only a short drive away. As are Potomac Village, the Beltway and a wide selection of exclusive country clubs that just happen to be right in the neighborhood.
But then there is the country side of Bethesda. The lush greenery and winding country roads, picturesque wooden bridges and parks with rushing creeks and streams. These peaceful counterpoints to a more hectic town life can also be found just minutes from Quarry Springs.
Located right off River Road, just outside the Capital Beltway, Quarry Springs is close to everything you love about Potomac and Bethesda, Maryland. Dining, shopping, entertainment and friends are all just moments away. Never before has there been an opportunity like this in a Montgomery County location so perfect. Moments from everything you love:
Quarry Springs amenities serve as the stylish “grace notes” of a lifestyle carefully designed to extend beyond the front doors of its elegant estate condominiums.
